(ConservativePeak.com)- Barack Obama launched a racist attack against black Trump supporters this week, dismissing the huge number of black men who supported him as simply falling for his “macho” style.
Obama, who became notorious during his presidency for launching drone strikes that killed families and children, said during an interview on Thursday that black men support the president because he is “stereotypical macho” and acts “tough.”
Is Barack Obama saying that all black men are easily fooled by appearances? It sounds like it…
“Well look, I think men generally are more susceptible to public figures who act tough, sort of a stereotypical macho style. I don’t think black men are immune to that any more than white or Hispanic men are,” Obama said to “Good Luck America” on Snapchat.
The comments came in the second part of a three-part interview.
Obama has been much more visible in recent weeks, helping his old colleague Joe Biden in the last weeks of the campaign and also promoting his latest book.
The interview, when uploaded to YouTube, had only 6,000 views a whole day after it was uploaded.
Perhaps the former president isn’t as popular as he likes to think.
The former president also made sweeping statements about black men, speculating why they like President Trump.
“If there are some in the hip hop community who are constantly rapping about bling and depicting women in a certain way, and then they hear Donald Trump basically delivering the same version of it, they might say, ‘Yeah that guy, that’s what I want. That’s what I want to be,’” he said. “All of which is to say the black community, like every community, is complicated.”
Obama did seem to reflect on the importance of not taking black and Hispanic voters for granted, though. For many years the Democrats have assumed they had the non-white vote in the bag, and it reached its peak during the 2020 presidential campaign when Biden had the nerve to say black people who didn’t support him “ain’t black.”
If you forgot about that one, here’s the video.
Obama said that Democrats “can’t generalize and just assume” that they have “black folks in our pockets” or the Hispanics “locked up.”
“And for that matter, we shouldn’t assume that we can’t win white men,” he added.
If the Democrats want to win white men, they’ll probably have to start by ending their far-left war against white straight men…
