(ConservativePeak.Com)- Not a day goes by without Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying something purposely provocative (and wrong) to try and win support from radicals in the Democratic Party.
On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez made the baseless claim that Republican governors are killing people by “sending vulnerable workers to die” promising “false claims of safety.”
Her comments come after the President granted governors more powers to gradually reopen their states as their individual situations allow it. States that have a solid grip over the health system and are not seeing large spikes in virus transmission and infections will be allowed to begin reopening stores and businesses while maintaining social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
But AOC thinks everyone should be locked at home for months more.
“GOP Govs like Kemp are sending vulnerable workers to die w/ false claims of safety,” she tweeted. “Trump also pushed an unproven, dangerous treatment as a ‘cure’ & firing experts who want to vet claims.”
Trump has NO PLAN to get people safely back to work.

Again, her claim was false. Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia is reopening according to the requirements set out by the White House. As for her claim that President Trump pushed a “dangerous” treatment, this is untrue because the drug which she is speaking about, hydroxychloroquine, is already approved by the Food and Drug Administration and has been in use for many years already.
Does Ocasio-Cortez not realize that the people she is appealing to with these extreme comments are likely all already on her side?
Earlier in the week, AOC also appeared to call for workers across the country to boycott their employment. During an interview with VICE, she said employees should refuse to go back to their jobs citing a made-up scenario.
“We talk about this idea of ‘reopening society.’ Only in America does [President Trump] — when the president tweets about liberation, does he mean ‘go back to work.’ When we have this discussion about going back or reopening, I think a lot of people should just say, ‘No, we’re not going back to that. We’re not going back to working 70 hour weeks just so that we can put food on the table and not even feel any sort of semblance of security in our lives,’” she said.
Ocasio-Cortez isn’t the only Democrat pushing conspiracies, either. This week House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also implied on an episode of Morning Joe that Vladimir Putin “has something” on President Trump.
You can’t make this stuff up!
