FINALLY: Bernie Sanders Will “Assess” His Campaign After Massive Primary Losses

(ConservativePeak.Com)- As the coronavirus pandemic makes life even more difficult for Bernie Sanders and his primary campaign, it’s looking more and more like the Democrats want to get the nomination over and done with so they can move on to the presidential campaign.

According to Sanders’ campaign manager, his team will “assess his campaign” over the coming weeks after losing in three more states to former Vice President Joe Biden.

“Sen. Sanders is going to be having conversations with supporters to assess his campaign,” campaign manager Faiz Shakir announced in a statement. “In the immediate term, however, he is focused on the government response to the coronavirus outbreak and ensuring that we take care of working people and the most vulnerable.”

The pressure is getting to Bernie. On Wednesday he was heard telling a CNN reporter “I’m dealing with a f*cking crisis!” when asked about his campaign in the Capitol building.

The news that the team will assess the campaign was released in an email, where Shakir admitted they would not sugarcoat the disastrous results in Florida, Arizona, and Illinois. Interestingly, the email did not include a link for people to donate to the campaign – something that is rarely missed off from campaign material when a candidate believes they still have a chance of winning.

Bernie isn’t facing new pressure to step down, but renewed pressure in the wake of more losses and major uncertainty for the American economy during the coronavirus outbreak. Pressure has been building for some time already after Biden won decisive victories in states on Super Tuesday. Even in the states where he lost to Sanders, Biden performed significantly better than expected.

Biden’s sudden rise in the primary race came immediately after former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, and former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg all dropped out of the race and offered him their endorsement. The combination of “moderate” support in the Democratic Party combined to make Sanders’ campaign doomed to fail.

As of Wednesday, Biden leads Sanders by 1,086 delegates to 722. It looks extremely unlikely that Sanders can turn this around.

So when will he stop wasting everyone’s time and drop out?
