High Ranking Military Official Openly Threatens Tucker Carlson

(ConservativePeak.com)- Top-ranking military officials are leveling threats against members of the conservative media — even though they’ve denied any wrongdoing.
Last week, FOX News host Tucker Carlson received threats from members of the Department of Defense after he mocked a new military program that President Joe Biden passed. Carlson mocked the program that focuses on “maternity flight suits” that will be worn by pregnant women who are flying planes for the military.
That sparked quite the hostile reaction from Scott Stalker, the command senior enlisted leader of the United States Space Command. Then, an official Twitter account belonging Ben Lemon, a commander sergeant major, lashed out at Carlson even further.
Lemon was responding to a Carlson tweet that read:
“This afternoon, the Department of Defense issued a press release attacking this show: ‘Press secretary smites Fox Host.’ Like we’re a hostile foreign power. Remarkable. We’ll respond at 8pm ET on #FoxNews.”
In response, Lemon tweeted a threat:
“The DoD didn’t ‘attack’ your show, we absolutely disagree with you! Trust me, you’d know if the DoD attacked you — it’s a doctrinal term.
“To be clear, this isn’t a political stance! @TuckerCarlson came after MY FAMILY!! Women in the military are MY SISTERS! I DEFEND MY FAMILY! Defend — another doctrinal term!”
What’s worse, even the official Twitter account for the US Marine Corps sent out a mocking attack on Carlson It wrote:
“What it looks like in today’s armed forces @TuckerCarson. Get right before you get left, boomer.”
The last comment, “boomer,” was an attack on Carlson being a Baby Boomer. It’s an attack not only on his political leanings to the right, but also on the fact that he belongs to a certain older generation.
That sparked outrage from a lot of people, including Fox’s Bill Melugin, who tweeted:
Pretty wild to see this tweet from an official US military account…”
The II MEF Information Group, which sent the tweet, walked back their statements with a follow-up that read:
“We are human and we messed up. We intended to speak up for female Marines and it was an effort to support them. They are a crucial part to our corps and we need them to know that. We will adjust fire and ensure the utmost professionalism in our tweets.”
Kurt Schlichter, who is a retired Army colonel, called out the Marine Corps for their attack on a civilian, tweeting:
“Excuse me @CMC_MarineCorps, but did you authorize a waiver of the political activity regs? If not, maybe you need to instill some discipline in your organization because your Marines appear to be ignoring your regs.”
Military officials of all ranks are supposed to remain out of politics altogether. They are supposed to serve the United States of America, regardless of which political party is in office. They are also supposed to stay out of the media.
Of course, military officials are allowed to have their political opinions — they are Americans, after all. But they’re not supposed to share that publicly with the world.
Seems at least some military officials showed their true colors when they stepped out of line recently.
