(Conservativepeak.com) – There’s no doubt that the Iowa primaries have been an absolute disaster for the Democrats. After using an app that was designed to reduce complications and protect the vote against corruption and rigging, the results were massively delayed and created a nightmarish scenario for Democratic campaign teams.
President Donald Trump labeled the scenario an “unmitigated disaster” on Twitter, and the whole country continued waiting for more than a day to hear who the early frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nominee is.
While it’s obviously an irritating mess for media pundits, you probably still don’t want to be heard getting angry about it on live TV. But that’s exactly what happened for an NBC News panelist.
A panelist during a live segment aired on Monday night can be overheard on a hot mic saying, “Oh my god, what an f-ing disaster.”
The comment can be heard as a news reporter explains what was happening at the event, and thankfully for the panelist, they censored themselves. They really did say “effing”!

NBC didn’t respond for comment and is unlikely to say any more. As scandals go, it isn’t huge, but it’s still funny. And, compared to the absolute mess that was the Iowa caucus, viewers probably agreed with the panelist.
The DNC released a statement on Monday night disputing reports that the problems were caused by the application. Instead, the Democratic Party governing body said that the problems were caused as a result of “inconsistencies in the reporting of three sets of results.”
The statement also said:
“In addition to the tech systems being used to tabulate results we are also using photos of results and a paper trail to validate that all results match and ensure that we have confidence and accuracy in the numbers we report. This is simply a reporting issue.”
Joe Biden, a former frontrunner in the campaign who is now lagging behind Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, disputed the claims by the DNC and wrote a letter suggesting that both the backup system and the app had failed.
Biden is understandably frustrated with the process, after flopping in the Iowa vote.
