(ConservativePeak)- Anita Dunn, a former Obama administration White House official, will be returning to government under the incoming Biden administration. Dunn hit headlines on Friday after Axios reported that she would be returning as a White House advisor given the many controversial statements she’s made in the past…including praising communist Chinese dictator Mao Zedong.
Dunn, who spent just seven months in the Obama administration, was soon forced to resign after conservative commentator Glenn Beck published a clip of her describing Mao as one of her “favorite political philosophers.”
During a speech in June 2009 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal High School in Washington D.C., she revealed her true views.
“The third lesson and tip actually come from two of my favorite political philosophers,” she said. “Mao Zedong and Mother Teresa.”
Can you believe that?
“They’re not often coupled with each other, but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is, you’re going to make choices…you’re going to figure out how to do things that have never been done before,” she added.
Dunn is controversial for lots of other reasons, too…including providing pro bono public relations services for Harvey Weinstein after it was revealed how he abused many women in the film industry.
In a statement, the Biden transition team said that Anita Dunn “brings decades of experience managing and winning political and advocacy campaigns and advising our nation’s leaders at the highest levels of government.”
But not everyone is so excited about having a woman who defended a sex offender and Chairman Mao back in the White House…even leftists.
Yay! Anita Dunn, who was part of Harvey Weinstein’s PR team, is going to join the Biden administration. As a woman who was paid to exonerate a rapist, she is cracking that glass ceiling. This is Onion-headline level perversion of feminism. https://t.co/V02S93gw4q

Despite her terrible past, Biden has remained loyal to Dunn, giving her a senior role on his campaign from 2019 until spring 2020. Dunn later became the co-chair of the Biden transition team.
Why does Joe Biden seem to like people with terrible pasts, and who haven’t apologized for their pasts?
A woman who provided pro bono PR services for a man who abused women hardly fits the Democrat “believe all women” agenda.
Are you excited for a third term of the Obama administration?
