COVID-19 numbers soar across the US with a record 150,000 cases. The country has seen 67,000 coronavirus-related hospital admissions in two weeks. The mounting emergency has raised the possibility of a nationwide lockdown and put renewed focus on mental health. This year saw a 93 percent rise in anxiety screenings, while depression screenings climbed 60 percent. Suicidal ideation is also on the rise, and there is grave concern about the likely toll of the holiday season on the minds of the vulnerable. RT America’s Trinity Chavez reports.
