REVEALED: Emails Suggest Hunter Biden Used VP Father To Get Burisma Pay Rise

( Newly revealed emails show how Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, may have leveraged his father’s position to get a pay increase for his job on the board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma.

It comes as the Democratic presidential nominee continues to deny claims that his son used his influence to obtain lucrative business deals in Ukraine and beyond.

Emails were recently published from a computer that was left with a computer repair store in April 2019. The store, located in the Bidens’ home state of Delaware, never received payment for the repairs, nor did the person who dropped off the machine ever pick it up.

Federal law enforcement officers reportedly seized the laptop from the repair store in December when the owner alerted them to the contents of the drive, but managed to make a copy of the hard drive before it was handed over. That copy of the hard drive was provided to the New York Post who reported on its contents on Sunday.

The Post reported how Hunter Biden leveraged his father’s position as Vice President to increase his pay on his already high-paying role on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma. An email sent at the time he joined the corporate board proved as much.

And, in a long memo that he sent to his then-business partner Devon Archer, who was also a member of the Burisma Board, Hunter Biden repeatedly referred to his father as “my guy.”

“The announcement of my guys upcoming travels should be characterized as part of our advice and thinking-but what he will say and do is out of our hands,” Biden said to his business partner on April 12, 2014. “In other words it could be a really good thing or it could end up creating too great an expectation. We need to temper expectations regarding that visit.”

The emails prove that Hunter Biden did in fact leverage his father’s position to make lucrative business deals.

And, it is unlikely that Joe Biden didn’t know about it, given that he travelled with his son on Air Force Two and was even pictured playing golf with Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer.

“We need to ask for long term agreement and across the board participation,” Hunter Biden also wrote. “This is a huge step for us that could easily become very complicated. And if we are not protected financially regardless of the outcome we could find ourselves frozen out of a lot of current and future opportunities.”

Does this or does this not sound like the son of an incumbent vice president using his proximity to power to help generate new business?

The release of these emails will cause a headache for Joe Biden, who during his time as Vice President pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma.
