St. Louis Couple Mark and Patricia McCloskey to Speak at RNC

( Remember Mark and Patricia McCloskey? They were the couple who live in a beautiful, historic mansion home in St. Louis who was threatened by a gang of extremist Black Lives Matter and Antifa activists. The couple became international news when they stood their ground outside their property holding guns, which they legally owned, and defended themselves against the threatening mob.

The couple were charged by politically biased St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardener with felony unlawful use of a weapon, but the intervention of Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmidt put an end to it. Gardner claimed that it is “Illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner at those participating in a nonviolent protest,” conveniently ignoring the fact that the couple were being threatened by a gang of extremists who destroyed the bolted gate to their community.

The pair have become a symbol of freedom and resistance against far-left tyranny, and are expected to speak at the upcoming Republican National Convention. It’ll be a nice change, given the Democratic National Convention has so far given us speeches by politicians telling untruths about the president and some awful music videos.

Attorney Mark McCloskey told KSDK news at the time of the incident that he went inside his home, got a rifle, because as soon as he told protesters “this is private property” they became enraged.

“Horde, an absolute horde came through the smashed-down gates, coming right at the house…and then I stood out there, the only thing we said is, ‘This is private property, go back, private property, leave now,’” he said. “At that point, everybody got enraged, there were people wearing body armor.”

Does that sound like a couple intimidating a peaceful crowd to you?

The speech by the couple will be important as a result of the ongoing violent left-wing protests that are still engulfing American cities. Portland, Oregon, is one of the worst affected cities in the country and has seen nightly violence for almost three months now.

The format of the RNC is yet to be confirmed, but many are hoping it will be an engaging and truly national event that can engage millions of Americans who choose to tune in online. I’m sure there will be more watching this than the tragic music videos being pumped out by the DNC.
