Trump Says Obama Gates is WAY Worse Than Watergate, “Looks Like Small Potatoes!”

( President Donald Trump doubled down this week when he told his Twitter followers that Obamagate, the scandal relating to former President Barack Obama’s attempt to sabotage the incoming Trump administration, makes Watergate “look like small potatoes.” It comes as former President Obama faces increasing pressure to answer questions about his behavior during the 2016 campaign and allegations that he spied on the Trump campaign.

In another tweet, President Trump also alluded to new information that proves President Barack Obama acted inappropriately during the final days of his administration.

“New papers make CLEAR that the Obama Administration SPIED, in an unprecedented manner, on the Trump Campaign and beyond, and even on the United States Senate,” he said.

Can you believe that?

Trump spent much of that same night, on Tuesday, posting about the Russia investigation that was proven to be a hoax, and retweeting comments about new documents declassified by Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell.

The president has been clear throughout the investigation into his campaign’s activity in 2016 that there was no collusion with Russia, and after years of investigations, no evidence was found to suggest that any collusion took place. New documents, however, do show how President Barack Obama was aware of an investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

Flynn, who Obama recommended Trump shouldn’t hire, was hired by President Trump and investigated by the FBI. The case was dropped after it was revealed how the FBI worked to get Flynn to admit to something he didn’t do.

On Tuesday, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany also suggested that John Ratcliffe, the new Director of National Intelligence replacing Richard Grenell, may release even more information about the illegal activity during the Obama administration that resulted in spying on the Trump campaign.

“This President has overseen an ODNI that has given the American people a lot of information that I think they’re entitled to see,” McEnany said during a press conference. “And one of the things the President has asked for is, where are the 302s, the summaries of that interview with Michael Flynn?”

Things are about to get really interesting.
